Ok so here is my final review of the Cintiq after using it for more than a week.

1) It could be brighter. So make sure you've got the blinds and curtains ready.

2) Great for stuff like Artrage and sketchbook pro where you don't need hotkeys.

3) I found it to be best on Photoshop. Having another window of the same document open really helps. So a zoomed in version on the cintiq while you have the native res version up on the monitor. I have mixed feelings about it on Painter. Painter has always been very finicky about things and you may have to adjust the brush tracking quite often. Some days you are heavy handed, others not.

4) If you have wrist problems then I think this will alleviate the problem to an extent. However, your eyes are more strained due to them being so close to a screen and/or working in darkly lit room.

5) Faster for speedpainting and sketching. But may throw you off some things because your hand is in the way.

6) You should have a good computer to match this expensive piece of equipment. What's the point in spending thousands of bux on a cintiq if your computer is choppy with brushstrokes?

7) Beware the learning curve. Some people will be put off by it right away because they are so used to the way they are set up. You really have to work and break through the barriers to enjoy this. Well at least in my experience. Others will respond to it very well. It's not for everyone. You need a good amount of space to work well too.

8) I found the keys on it to be mainly useless. I only use a few and I disable all the keys on the right side because my arm may sometimes touch them.

Conclusion: Is it worth the thousands of bux? For me I would say it has changed my workflow for the better but probably not worth the price it is going for right now. If it were about $500 cheaper then I would say yes it is totally worth it. It would be nice if there was a size in between the 21" and 12". I was expecting a massive ray of light to dawn upon me when I first used it. But I really had to work hard to appreciate what it can do for me. Again, not for everyone. If you're fine with the way you work now then I would suggest holding off until they come down in price (whenever the hell that would be, if ever) or when you're ready for something new.

Ground Control 2: Slowpoke on this. I loved the first one but the 2nd one lost the feeling. I haven't been very motivated to play it much.

Penumbra Black Plague: The bricks...they were shat.

(Question outta left field)Should I draw a comic y/n or carry on as usual?
